Short-Term Camping / Make a Reservation
Throughout the year, short-term camping is available to both Scouting units and non-Scouting groups at Camp Babcock-Hovey. Most groups arrive Friday evening and leave before Sunday at noon but week long rentals are also available.
To make a reservation or check availability, do so online through the council website. For assistance please contact Camping and Program Support at 585-241-8545 or email email@example.com.
Reservations are held when payment is made online or through the Scout Service Center and entered into the online system. Cancellations of reservations should follow the Off Season Camp Reservation Refund Procedure.
Out Of Council Units and Non-Scouting Groups
All Scouts camping must have Health & Accident Insurance. Out of Council Units should contact their council to provide a proof of Health and Accident Insurance that you should bring with you to camp with your Tour Plan. Non-Scouting groups will also need to have proof of liability insurance. For questions, please contact Camping and Program Support at firstname.lastname@example.org or 585-241-8545.
A quick walkthrough video was developed to help make the registration process easier. We recommend that the first time you make a reservation that you watch the video to learn the ins and outs of the system. The video is about 10 minutes in length.
