2017 National Jamboree
July 19-28, 2017
The Seneca Waterways Council is sending at least two troops to the Scouting event of the year, the 2017 National Jamboree at the Summit.
Registration is open and troops are forming NOW!
As of February 1, 2017, 2.5 troops have been formed. We are three participants shy of full. Once these troops are filled we will start a wait list for scouts, we will use the is list to fill any openings that come up.

Who can attend a Jamboree?
Most Boy Scouts and Venturers are eligible to attend a Jamboree. Boy Scouts must hold First Class rank or higher and be 12 years old before July 19, 2017, but not yet 18 years old by July 28, 2017.
Can adults go, too?
YES! We encourage adults to register for a staff position at the National Jamboree. Sign up the very same way at http://bsajamboree.org.
Seneca Waterways Council Contingent Jamboree Fee: $1,700
Your registration fee can be paid in installments and includes:
- 10-day Jamboree Experience at the Summit, the Jamboree site in West Virginia
- Transportation and all meals to and from the Jamboree Weekend
- A pre-trip “shake-down” at a council camp, including all food
- Hydration pack, hat, two t-shirts, name tag, and one set of jamboree patches
