Demonstrate corporate goodwill and increase your company’s visibility before a highly desirable audience through sponsorship through our special events of the Seneca Waterways Council. Our development staff will work with you to identify a sponsorship level that will help you be proud of your involvement with Scouting.
May 12 — 21 Stories for Scouts at Kodak World Headquarters
Challenge yourself or your company team to participate in the most unique and highest visibility event in all of Rochester. Rappel from the 19th floor balcony of Kodak World Headquarters to the ground and in so doing, to the expansion of Scouting programs for underprivileged Scouts in urban neighborhoods.
June 27 — Casting for Character at Rochester Yacht Club
Cultivate clients and employees with a 4 1/2-hour guided fishing charter on Lake Ontario. Teams of five compete for cash prizes and the pride of catching the biggest fish of the day. Qualifying winners are also entered into the LOC Fishing Derby.
July 11 — Hoselton Sporting Clays Classic at Rochester Brooks Gun Club
This event is generously presented by Hoselton Auto Mall and includes lunch, twelve shooting stations, a cocktail hour, surf & turf dinner as well as a robust live and silent auction. Funds raised benefit shooting sports safety and outdoor education programs at our premier camping facilities.
September 15 — LobsterFest
Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Rochester’s premier country club featuring delicious surf and turf delicacies, open bar, after-party and more. Lobsterfest features a robust live and silent auction with one-of-a-kind items. This event underwrites assistance for underprivileged Scouts to participate.
September 23 — Sporting Clays Shoot at Canandaigua Sportmen’s Club
An exciting day of sporting clays action for the shooting enthusiast. Perfect for older Scouts, Scouters, school shooting teams, business teams and individuals. Includes breakfast, BBQ lunch and assorted prizes and auctions. Funds raised support shooting sports safety and outdoor education programs at our three outstanding camping facilities.

Celebrate with us as we recognize Finger Lakes community leaders who through their leadership and commitment to the community embody the ideals of Scouting in their daily lives.
November — Friends of Scouting Kickoff Dinner
Join friends and colleagues in being a pacesetter for our 2024 Friends of Scouting kickoff. This event features an engaging speaker and mission-focused program.
January 9, 2024 — Eagle Scout Mentor Dinner & Gathering of Eagles
Join us in recognizing the 2023 Class of Eagle Scouts. Share your career experience and expertise as a mentor to one of Scouting’s finest young men. The dinner also salutes an adult Eagle Scout for their lifetime achievement and demonstration of the ideals of Scouting.
