DISTRICT PINEWOOD DERBY
Black Creek District’s Pinewood Derby returns this year on April 14th 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This year’s event will be held at the new Gates Recreation Facility. All Cub Scouts are welcome to attend and join the race! There will be five racing classes - Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos and Unlimited. An Overall Winner round follows. There will be awards for 1st and 2nd places each class, 1st place Overall and (special) Most Interesting Looking Car! Click here to download the flier and registration form. CUB-A-ROO
Cub-a-Roo will be Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Gates-Chili Middle School. Activities include swimming, games, Campfire fun and First Aid lessons. Cub Scouts will complete the requirements for the Swimming Belt Loop and the Ultimate Belt Loop. Download the flier for complete details and registration form. Merit Badge University will be Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Saint Pius Tenth School, 3000 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624. The following Merit Badges are being offered: Art, Camping, Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Communications, Energy, Personal Management, Scholarship and Scouting Heritage. Youth Protection Training is also being offered from 9-12 for adult leaders. Download the flier for details. Also download pre-requisites for each Merit Badge. Questions?
