Trail to Eagle

Trail to Eagle at Camp Babcock-Hovey

Spend a week at Camp Babcock-Hovey working towards your Eagle Scout Rank.

This is the ultimate camp for advancement and Scouting knowledge. Every merit badge required for Eagle Scout will be offered this week, plus in-depth information about service projects, NESA, paperwork and many other important details needed for obtaining the highest award in Scouting.

Throughout this country, even non-scouters know that an Eagle Scout is special. An Eagle Scout represents the finest in Scouting’s ideals and demonstrates to all, that as a youth, you met a lofty goal of character, citizenship and accomplishment.

Each Scout who registers will be placed in the “Trail to Eagle Troop” at camp, and will work together as a Troop. This program is not intended to replace the normal Troop summer camp activity and Scouts are encouraged to attend camp with their Troop on a different week.

This week will not just be about merit badges; there will be fun every day. Each “Trail to Eagle Patrol” will participate in a full afternoon in one program area; ever wish you could stay the whole afternoon at the lake? Well here is your chance.

The “Trail to Eagle Week” is an opportunity for any Scout who is serious about working on his Eagle rank and also wants to have some fun at camp. This week is a chance to meet new challenges and make new friends. The time spent at camp during this week is priceless and the experiences that each Scout leaves with will help them know that, “Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.”
