Cub Scout Resident Camp - Camp Dittmer
Cub Resident Camp is a three day, two night camp featuring the theme “100 Years of Scouting.” The program is exceptional with the following programs.
- Action and Stationary Archery – We will not only have fun doing the traditional archery, but we will be able to shoot at eight different targets that are theme related and provide a challenge.
- Action ArcheryFishing – 997 fish were caught in 2010.
- Nature Photography – Cubs will earn their photography belt loop.
- Cub Cart Racing – Bring your bike helmet and race around with us at camp.
- Campfire Cooking – Learn how to cook over an open fire.
- Adventure to Brownsea Island – Experience what games were like at the first campout that Lord Baden Powell led.
- Boating – The cub scouts will be able to boat in a man of war on the large manmade lake.
- Swimming – Experience swimming in a lake with roped off areas for swimmers and non-swimmers.
- Historical Journey of Scouting – Take a look with us at 100 years of scouting.
- Crafts – Make a traditional scout craft.
- Outdoor Movie Theater – Come join us the first night to munch popcorn and watch a movie on a huge screen.
