Cub Scout Resident Camp - Camp Dittmer
Cub Resident Camp is a three day, two night camp featuring the theme “100 Years of Scouting.” The program is exceptional with the following programs.
- Action and Stationary Archery We will not only have fun doing the traditional archery, but we will be able to shoot at eight different targets that are theme related and provide a challenge.
- Action ArcheryFishing 997 fish were caught in 2010.
- Nature Photography Cubs will earn their photography belt loop.
- Cub Cart Racing Bring your bike helmet and race around with us at camp.
- Campfire Cooking Learn how to cook over an open fire.
- Adventure to Brownsea Island Experience what games were like at the first campout that Lord Baden Powell led.
- Boating The cub scouts will be able to boat in a man of war on the large manmade lake.
- Swimming Experience swimming in a lake with roped off areas for swimmers and non-swimmers.
- Historical Journey of Scouting Take a look with us at 100 years of scouting.
- Crafts Make a traditional scout craft.
- Outdoor Movie Theater Come join us the first night to munch popcorn and watch a movie on a huge screen.
